What the estimate includes
For an international departure, the tool adds the selected travel-tax category to the airport's published international passenger service charge. For a domestic departure, travel tax is zero and the result contains only the airport charge.
The airport list includes locations with a sufficiently clear official current or signed rate in the source record. A route with unresolved or conditional pricing is left out rather than guessed.
An airport fee already shown in the airline ticket should not be paid twice.
Airport numbers used
Travel-tax categories
Use full rate when the traveller is taxable and has no reduction. Use the child rate only from age two years and one day through the 12th birthday 2.
The OFW-dependent figure is a privileged reduced rate for a qualified unmarried child below 21 travelling to the OFW's worksite. It is not the rate for every relative of an OFW 2.
Select exempt only when the traveller meets a TIEZA exemption and has the required proof. The calculator does not decide eligibility.
What is excluded
- Airfare and fuel or insurance surcharges
- Airline baggage and seat fees
- Visa, ACR I-Card and ECC fees
- Transport to the airport
- A proposed border-security user fee
- Foreign government charges
Check before payment
Compare the result with the taxes and fees in the airline receipt. The ticket can already contain both travel tax and the passenger service charge.
For an exemption or refund, use the official TIEZA, airport or airline process. Keep the receipt and status documents.
Common questions
Does the calculator send my data?
No. The calculation is performed in the browser and has no network request or tracking code.
Does it include airfare?
No. It adds only travel tax and the selected airport passenger service charge.
Does it include the proposed border fee?
No. A proposed charge with no final collection authority or start date is excluded.
Why is Cagayan de Oro not listed?
The signed concession has a ₱200 handover baseline and conditional later amounts, but the reviewed official record did not confirm approval of the later rates.
Can the estimate replace the ticket receipt?
No. Check the airline's taxes and fees and current official pages before payment.
