Published CAAP rates
CAAP's Memorandum Circular 019-2025 set ₱900 for an international departure from a CAAP international airport and ₱350 for a domestic departure from the same class. It applied to tickets bought from 21 April 2025 2.
CAAP lists General Santos International Airport under Area Center XI and continues to publish airport procurements for it. That identifies CAAP as the operator for the rate schedule 1,4.
The official material checked for this page does not provide a later General Santos-specific rate notice. A temporary or promotional amount should be verified in the current airline fare breakdown.

How the terminal fee is collected
The official name is passenger service charge. CAAP's integration rules make airlines collect the domestic charge at the point of sale and remit it to CAAP 3.
A fee already included in the ticket should not be paid again at the terminal. Check the taxes and fees section of the booking receipt 3.
The charge applies to departure. It is separate from the TIEZA travel tax, which applies only to an international departure and uses citizenship, residence and stay rules.
Exemptions and refunds
CAAP rules list exemptions for defined passengers, including infants, passengers denied entry, transfer or transit passengers in the stated conditions, crew and OFWs on international travel 3.
An exempt person whose ticket contains the fee should use the airline or airport refund route and present the required status document. An OFW should keep the Overseas Employment Certificate or current equivalent used for the trip 3.
The exemption from a CAAP passenger service charge does not decide travel-tax liability. TIEZA has a separate exemption process.
Airport facilities and current operation
CAAP opened expanded terminal space and boarding bridges at General Santos in November 2023. It described the airport as Mindanao's largest and said the terminal expansion created more departure-lounge space 5.
CAAP's 2026 procurement page lists repair of domestic and international baggage systems and rehabilitation work after the June 2026 earthquake. These records confirm continued CAAP management and both domestic and international facilities 4.
Facility projects do not change the fee by themselves. A passenger charge changes through an approved rate notice, so use the published schedule and current ticket evidence 2.
